Hello! I'm so glad you're here. I grew up as a child care-giver too! My grandfather was diagnosed with a rare disease - Inclusion Body Myositis - when I was in pre-school. But, it started to affect his ability to walk when I was just 2. I wish I'd seen him healthy...but he was the best grandfather ever and I was blessed to have him in my life!
Why Voice of the Kid
I lived a caregiver's life, every day, from age 7 to 13. I never met other kids experiencing life caring for a loved-one with a serious disease. I want to help other kids find their voices and connect in a supportive community.
Life is Tough Sometimes

"How," you might ask, "I'm only a kid'"? By talking to your family and friends, a teacher, a pastor or your community here. Take time to do fun activities that bring you joy, make you giggle and smile. Know that you are appreciated and doing a great job.
